Are you digging your paradigm?

May 18, 2024

When you think of your marriage what comes to mind? How do you see your hubby/wife?

Confrontational, angry, nitpicky, nag, procrastinator…..

Ally, partner, openminded, go-getter, joyful….

How you see will determine how you will act.

If you want small changes in your life, work on your attitude. But if you want big and primary changes, work on your paradigm.” -Stephen Covey

Ron and I are not here just to keep dishing out advice on having the "right attitude", nor "how to have the perfect marriage", no we are here to show you what we’ve done and what's made the biggest impact.

We’ve changed the way we see our marriage, and each other.

A perspective shift will allow for natural growth as a couple. As we coach people, both in person and online, we help them see what God wants for marriages and through that they see eachother in a whole new light.

And let me tell you, when that light goes on, it is dang bright!

Ron and I have both read a lot of books (well Ron actually listens but that still counts, info is going in!). Books on how to and what to, all pertaining to personal growth as well as growth in marriage. There is a lot of absolutally great tried and true advice, testimonies and clinical evidence that helps make things make sense between men and woman.

But what has made the biggest impact for us, learning what God says about marriage, and what he says feels about your hubby/wife.

When you can finally see that God gave you this great gift (your honey), this person who was sent to stand shoulder to shoulder with you and be your ally in battles. This person who was designed to be specifically different from you so that you can accomplish exactly what God intended…..well, then He will bring transformative changes to youre life and marriage.

Think this is impossible, yeah 10 years ago, I did too! Most days we stood nose to nose, we stood our ground, because there was only one right way and it was "MY WAY".

God has a way of mending broken things, bringing dead things back to life & breathing new life into old things.

It's time to see your hubby/wife the way God does.

"The unfolding of your word gives light; It gives understanding to those who do not understand." Psalm 119:130
